Pure, Sweet snow, fell elegantly from the night sky, dyed silver by the moonlight. A little girl stepped out into the newfallen snow, her feet clad in fluffy, pink bunny slippers. Her soft, brown hair was pulled up into careful pigtails by pink, silk ribbons, and she wore a lilac jacket over her pajamas. A small red robin fluttered onto a nearby tree branch, causing little plumes of snow to fall to the ground with a muffled thud.
"I can't sleep." The little girl whispered innocently to the little robin. The robin cocked its head wonderingly at her. A shot, shattered the sweet silence, and the robin frantically flew away. The little girl was thrown backwards, landing harshly in the snow, throwing up silver plumes. Blood, as red as anger, seeped through the soft, lilac jacket and into the silver virgin snow. Her sweet, blue eyes closed, never to open again. And the gentle snow, continued to fall, covering her tiny body, and the soiled snow. The silence having been restored, the brilliant red robin returned to the tree and chirped mournfully.
Just something random I wrote. Though I'm told it the metaphorical meaning of the lose of youthful innocence. *shrugs*
